Come and stay with us in this peaceful and relaxed area of Central Portugal. We are located
in the Beiras region just a 25 minute drive from Coimbra, which was once the capital, midway
between the sandy beaches at Figuera da Foz and the mountains of the Serra de Estrela, in a
typical Portuguese village.
Our house takes its name from the Camelia in the garden, which is said by the local people to
be over 100 years old.
There are good facilities in the village, including banks (with cash machines), cafe/bars, mini
supermarkets a restaurant and various other shops.
Go back in time to a place where the local people can be seen farming the land, harvesting the
fresh fruit and vegetables and tending their animals.
Sample the local wines and ports which are available at one of the many cafe/bars or in the
local shops at extremely good prices.
